Count'em.
Four more days till I return to the world of organized learning and I've completed pretty much zero of my goals set forth in my previous post. I'm infamous...no let me reword that...I'm the JAGGER of procrastination and unproductivity in all accounts. Basically all my unemployed, fat slobby ass has done over the course of this past week was...well...wake up.
Of course I penned a new song, wrote a good 1 percent of my new screenplay and drank an astonishingly gross amount of beer, but I'd say it's not up there with losing 10 lbs, walking a marathon or volunteering for charity.
I did manage to order a few items online for the great monetary exchange of "0."
A syringe disposal box you all see so appropriately strewn across doctors offices around the world.
and, despite me not owning a gun nor have any plans to in the future, I decided I'd like to own the Essential Second Amendment Guide from the NRA.
Excuse my shitty cell phone pics. Too lazy (as usual) to fetch my digi cam.
Also, tonight was the season 3 ("series" in the UK) premiere of Skins, my favorite teen melodrama set in Bristol, England. Yes, as a 22 year old college student, I still enjoy my teen dramas after graduating from the likes of 90210, Degrassi, etc.
I would have to give the new episode a 3 or 4 out of 5 and I'm only being nice because...well... it's Skins. It seems the creators have increased the production values allowing them to film more scenes at the actual school in order to portray the trademark hedonistic, bratty and downright colorful characters in a different light (despite them being an amalgamation of tween/teen pop culture). The easiest thing I could do is compare this season to last, but like I said that would be the easiest. I'm just glad I have another show to anxiously await another fix week after week.
Anyway, until next time, keep on keepin' on.
